Unit Circle

CurieCub · from Unit Circle

Answers are everywhere. Great questions are rare.

CurieCub is a learning studio for curious students in grade school and beyond. It teaches any idea from first principles, so they build the broad, deep knowledge that great questions come from.

In early, private use. Not yet open for sign‑ups.

Why now

Knowing what to ask is the skill that lasts.

AI and robots can now carry out almost any request in seconds. What they can't do is decide what's worth asking. That takes knowledge broad enough to see connections and deep enough to trust. CurieCub builds both, one idea at a time, and teaches students to ask well.

How it works

Every lesson starts with a mystery.

  1. The mystery

Each lesson opens with a puzzle a student can almost, but not quite, solve.

  2. Three ideas

Short, hands-on ideas build what the puzzle rests on, each with a quick check.

  3. Practice

Problems adapt as a student works, from a gentle warm-up to olympiad level.

  4. Solved

Back to the mystery, which now makes sense. That's the moment that sticks.

Principles

How CurieCub is built.

First principles

Every idea names what it rests on. When a student is stuck, help steps down to the foundations instead of repeating itself louder.

Never confidently wrong

Every answer is checked by code before a student sees it. CurieCub's tutor explains answers it knows are right. It never guesses.

Coach, don't answer

Hints before steps, steps before solutions. Students do the thinking, so the learning is theirs.

Knows the student

CurieCub learns how each student thinks, and changes how ideas are explained, not just how hard they are.

Nothing hidden

Students see what was asked, what was answered, what was learned and how much help was used. For younger students, so do their parents.

Joy, without tricks

Rewards for real milestones. Nothing punishes a missed day, and every lesson is open from the start.

Scope

Maths first. Everything next.

Today

Maths from grade 3 to grade 8, olympiad-style contest practice that teaches problem-solving strategies, and a whiteboard made for drawing with a pencil on a tablet.

Next

Robotics, science and more subjects, for students in grade school and beyond, and homework help that coaches rather than answers. School standards guide the order; every idea is still taught from first principles.

Privacy and safety

Built for students. Secured like it matters.

Security comes first in every decision we make, from design to production. These are our commitments.

  • You decide. Students control their own data; for students under 18, a parent or guardian does. Consent is given per purpose, and everything can be seen, exported or deleted.
  • We collect the least. No student email, and no real name needed.
  • No ads, and no selling data. Ever.
  • Students' data never trains AI models.
  • This website keeps to the same rules. No cookies, no analytics, no trackers, and nothing loaded from anyone else.

Built one student at a time.

CurieCub began at home, as a maths studio for one curious student, who uses it every day. A small circle of students comes next. It isn't open for sign‑ups yet.
